What to Wear | Aggie Hill {Long Island Baby Photographer}

One of the first questions clients have after they book their session is what do we wear? We send out a What to Wear Guide to all of our clients to help them with this decision and of course I am always available to help style their session. Since this is such a big question, I will be doing a series of What to Wear post featuring some of my favorite companies who carry beautiful children’s clothing.

Sneak Peek for the B Family {Long Island Family Photographer}

We had so much fun with these cuties yesterday. Lots of silliness, rock throwing into the water and snails at the beach, but where were those fiddler crabs??? I think we were too noisy!

Lifestyle Art II {Long Island New York Child Photographer}

Here is another idea that would be wonderful in a child’s room. The background color can be done a color to coordinate with the child’s clothing or the room decor. There are 25 images on a 20×20 gallery wrapped art canvas so it arrives ready to hang. Beautiful! This has stolen my heart, what about yours?!

Lifesyle Art {Long Island New York Baby Photographer}

Did you know there are 1000’s of ways to display your final portraits. In this example, three 16 x 16 portraits are framed in a black gallery frame. The 5th Annual Louisiana Sessions 2010

The tickets are booked and I am heading South to what I hope will be a little warmer weather. After the multiple snow events in Louisiana this year I guess you never know!

Another Year With the R Family {NY Children’s Photographer}

Oh how fast they grow! This is the fourth year I have photographed these little cuties and I am always amazed how they change, and in some ways stay the same each year. Last year we did our session at their beautiful home in Vermont but this year we decided to stay close to home. Wherever we shoot, it is always a pleasure. This year we also did a few shots of their crazy fun standard poodle, Pax. See a few pics of him on the Woof blog. Thanks R family for allowing me to document yet another year in you life. A New Baby In the P Home! {NY Newborn Photographer}

Baby S is just one week old today! His sister and brother are delighted with their new baby brother. Even N who is losing his baby of the family status seems very happy becoming a big brother! We didn’t quite finish our session when S had enough of this modeling thing. We will be seeing each other again in a few days so stay tuned for more scrumptious babydom! I love newborns!

Hope for Javier ~A Milestone {NY Children’s Photographer}

As many of you know who have seen my site, I am involved with a charity called Hope for Javier. (For some reason my links are not highligted in this post. If you want to know more about Hope for Javier please click on the bold text to go to his site) Javier is a beautiful, almost 5 year old little boy whose mom and dad are good friends of mine. Javier has a hideous form of Muscular Dystrophy called Duchenne. Duchenne’s is one of the rarest types of MD and effects only boys. At this time, there is no cure for Duchenne but Javier’s family, friends and the Duchenne community are trying to do something about that. If you are looking for a charity to donate to this is a mighty good one. These donations will go to fund the research that needs to be done so that there will indeed be Hope for Javier.

As a personal project I am chronicling Javier’s journey. Yesterday Javier was measured for his first wheelchair. As you will see in these photos Javier can walk now but he gets tired easily. He starts kindergarten this year and will need his chair to make it through the day at his new school. Javier’s parents have done a heroic job of making getting measured for his first chair an exciting adventure. Of course they are putting on an Oscar winning performance because their hearts are breaking at this new milestone, and so is mine…

Sneak Peek ~ Sweet Cousins {NY Baby Photographer}

A dear friend gave her two nieces the gift of photography when their babies were born. We finally got together at “Nanna’s” beautiful home and had our session. What fun and how beautiful these sweet babies and big sister are! All three have the most incredible eyes and all three are as sweet as pie. Enjoy the preview A and R, your gallery will be up soon.
