The O family sure creates beautiful babies and E is no exception! E is now a month old which is a little older than the suggested newborn session and so he didn’t sleep a wink until it was time to leave. He didn’t sleep but look at those amazing eyes, wide open! So beautiful. Your gallery will be up soon mom and dad.
I was delighted to photograph the extended H family during their vacation in Montauk. It was a beautiful, although windy day (the giant balloons didn’t quite work out!). It was a pleasure spending time with you guys! Here are a few images from the day until your gallery is up this week.
Did you know there are 1000’s of ways to display your final portraits. In this example, three 16 x 16 portraits are framed in a black gallery frame. Baby S is just one week old today! His sister and brother are delighted with their new baby brother. Even N who is losing his baby of the family status seems very happy becoming a big brother! We didn’t quite finish our session when S had enough of this modeling thing. We will be seeing each other again in a few days so stay tuned for more scrumptious babydom! I love newborns!
A dear friend gave her two nieces the gift of photography when their babies were born. We finally got together at “Nanna’s” beautiful home and had our session. What fun and how beautiful these sweet babies and big sister are! All three have the most incredible eyes and all three are as sweet as pie. Enjoy the preview A and R, your gallery will be up soon.

G is one of our Year One babies. I can’t believe a year has passed since our first session! Children grow so quickly and the moments fly by. Capturing a few of G’s precious moments this year is what makes this the greatest job on earth! Here is a single image from yesterday’s session with some fun artwork. I will post more soon with a recap of G’s amazing first year!
This is my second time working with these little beauties. We wanted to get a fabulous photo of the four cousins for their grandmother. When working with two 2 year olds and two babies under 1 year, let’s just say, they call the shots! We still didn’t get the “perfect” group shot but we did get wonderful individual images and the group shot is just like my tag line says…life as it happens! This time we did get everyone in the same place. Progress!

It was a challenge but I love a challenge! I hope the mom’s of these fun loving cousins agree we succeeded in capturing the essence of these two year olds and their baby brothers. Two year olds are truly one of my favorite ages but the most challenging! They have a mind of their own but their expressions are priceless. When you photograph young children you come to understand that the kids direct the session. You learn to be patient and always be on the watch for those little moments. There are times when it just isn’t going to work and that is ok too. You just try again. But I think we did it!

This is the most wonderful family. They are the cousins of M and K my first twins from the last post. I had photographed big brother P in Central Park when he was the same age as his new twin brother and sister. You can see his photo in the flash bar at the top of the blog header. Unfortunatley the J family moved South for a while but are thankfully now back in the Northeast and I had the pleasure of meeting P’s new brother and sister for the first time on Saturday. You guys can’t move again no matter what! Thanks so much for having me photograph the expanded family this year!
If you have been reading my blog you know I am crazy for long eyelashes. These little cuties win the prize for the most beautiful eyelashes I have ever seen. I will post photos to prove it tomorrow and you will see I am right!
