A sneak peek for Mom

Because of the technical trouble of the past few weeks I am a bit late posting online galleries so here is a little sneak peek for Mom S.  The S family was a total joy to work with.  We almost thought we might have to reschedule because of weather but it cleared up beautifully and we had a lovely walk in the park.  Handsome L and his little blue eyed sis C were delightful!

So here are a few for Mom until your gallery is ready.  Thanks for your patience!

Computers…can’t live without them but they can make your life miserable!

I have had the most horribly frustrating computer problems in the last two weeks.  This is not a pleasant occurrence at any time but when you are in the thick of the busiest time of the year, it is really is a problem.  The problem got so bad that I had to reformat my computer.  If you have ever had to do this you know how time consuming and scary it is to do.  The scary part of course is have I backed all of my important info  and where are all of those disks and downloads for the software I depend on everyday?!  A nightmare!!!!

I want to thank all of my wonderful clients for their patience and sweet words of encourgagement during this time.  Please know that I am doing everything I can to catch up and get your sessions edited, posted, orders placed, albums created, ect…

Oh, listen to this…after all of the hours on the phone with tech people from Dell to assorted software companies and the reformatting of the computer, I am still getting weird window error messages!  I think there will be a MAC in my future.

Sneak Peek ~ Big Brother Little Sister

Little S loves her big brother like you can’t believe!  She is totally smitten with him and thinks he is the absolute best which of course he is!  They were both a delight to spend an afternoon with!

Little Miss S with the beautiful blue eyes!

So Bittersweet…

These two handsome fellows are members of my first NILMDTS family.  Their little brother W was born with health issues that would mean he would only live a few hours.  W may have not had a long time here but he had a lifetime’s worth of love in that room with his family.  It was a true honor to photograph that love and document W’s life.  He and this family will be in my heart forever.

So it is bittersweet pleasure to photograph the boys now before they leave Long Island and move across the country to San Diego.  I understand that there are “many palm trees” there as per the boys…and of course Lego Land!  I know the O’s will have a wonderful life in sunny California and I wish them all the best, but I will be sad that they are so far away! I think I might just have to make a little trip west!

The Reluctant Subject

T’s mom was a bit concerned about our photoshoot.  T is a fun loving boy but having his photo taken is not on his list of fun things to do.  Our plan was not to make a “thing” about having photos taken but we would just enjoy a beautiful nature park that T loves.  I also thought it might be fun to have a camera for T to take some of his own shots.  In the end we had great fun and I think we ended up with some great shots.  I hope mom will agree with a few little previews here.  I will have your gallery up soon but here are a few of my initial favorites.  Enjoy!
